the purpose of us doing this study: to highlight this area often overlooked in spore and hopefully improving the patients' emotional wellbeing.

what seems like a simple surveying patients kinda thing gave me much food for thought.

in particular, a few patients that i have the fortune to meet today, and the opportunity to listen to them and hear their stories. ( perhaps this is biased in the sense that they are mostly eng ed and can articulate their viewpoints better? )

this man, english educated, highly paid job. and he looked up to us with such sincerity and hope that i felt so strongly for him and his effort to share his viewpoints even after being poked by needles. he sees us rj grads, bright people, with the potential to become leaders of tommorrow. to change things, to make it a better place.

he reflect the issues that contribute to depression, the real root of the problem that we've been trying to identify through our survey. external factors that can turn someone so cheerful to being a depressed person.

shant list all those stuff, after all, in spore, alot of stuff just cant be said, unless u want ppl to sue u or sth.

-note: his wife and nurse thinks he's depressed. what i see is someone who is cheerful and smiles at me, welcomes a stranger in t-shirt and no official tag and did a survey. --

i must fight to get that message spread. this is the purpose of doing this research proj. to be their voices. to give back what we've taken from society.

-to be continued-really tired now-
