i worked so hard to maintain this while working part time.

bumming around the house with my sis, surprisingly, actually made time pass rather fast. lol.

explored sembawang shopping centre, newly opened. nothing much, did some grocery shopping for russia trip! then did a DIY face mask. i feel like a freaking taitai, doing facial masks and shopping. ha.

looking at all the common grouses leading to relationship problems (there seem to be quite afew within my close network of friends), i can conclude that the crux lies in: communication and trust.

especially so in long distance relationships, when one party is busier, no time to meet/talk over internet/phone/skype. insecurity arises, and led the way for all sorts of other problems.

looking back, yes there was a juncture where i thought we wouldnt be able to make it, when technology failed us, miscommunication, too busy, too demanding for meeting time, less phone chats due to (my) late working hrs, (too much rain?) etc etc.

but i have to be thankful, for all my pms-y outbursts, irregular meeting times (or lack thereof), rambling phone chats (which was nearly a one-way blabbling) there was someone patiently standing by quietly, waiting for that time of the month to pass, waiting for exams to be over, waiting for work to be over.

that is trust, that is given freely. and it is earned in return. no more insecurity (ok maybe not none but less), because just as i will never bat an eyelid at other eye candy, i can trust someone to do the same.
