happy chinese new year!

a much anticipated and well-received break. hosted reunion dinner (which was very good). some usual (mundane and repetitive) visiting of relatives. the food's alright, not as good as last year, but i managed to enjoy quite afew very nice (and fattening) snacks.

highlight of cny would be reunion dinner. perhaps because it was very traditionally steamboat-ish yummy.

another highlight would be yest's sentosa trip! with very pretty photos.

why dont you learn dialect? then you can communicate with your grandmother

i dont see the need to. she is the only elderly i met who dosent know how to speak english and chinese. even if i learn it, i only use it once-twice a year, so there's no point.
