back from malaysia, cameron highlands!

it was a very refreshing trip with very good (and distracting) company.

went for nearly all the attractions, the various farms, the mossy forest. even went to the highest peak! the cool weather, fresh air, excellent vegetables and fruits (all sweet, and crunchy and juicy) and the great breakfast and steamboat made my day! (:

day 1: arrival at cameron highlands!

the first breath of fresh air, and first meal (breakfast) at the town! managed to check in early to get some rest (the hotel room was cozy and comfy). then afternoon was the agro tour! went to various places, mostly farms. most memorable were the strawberry and hydroponics veg farm, with juicy salad veg and strawberries! yumyum. and the traditional veg farm, with the extremely-sweet sweet corn! so good, i literally went ooohhhh. there's cactus farm too.

the steamboat dinner was unlike what we had in SG. it is more wholesome, partly due to the very fresh veg. excellent veg, so much so that for that instant, i actually dont mind being vegetarian. ha. evening was an early night. good rest.

2nd day: nature discovery tour! went to the tea plantation, and the tea factory. the best part is the highest peak. was so high that standing on the observation tower literally gives people the feeling of being on top of the world! the trekking through the mossy forest is interesting as well.

managed to explore kea farm (which is near hotel) during our free and easy times. good food, (esp the cup corn! really really much better than SG). alot of rest.

its an excellent 21st birthday present. feel so refreshed! (:

special tribute goes to ts for slogging away for my party, handling the bbq pit, cooking, coming early, getting me food, etc etc etc.

and my wishlist is nearly fulfilled! i just need an iphone to go with that sexy pink iphone cover. muahaha. and remember not to lose my pink water bottle.

hehe.

my 21st birthday is coming! to mark my independence, I will be holding an exclusive closed door celebration. if this is the first time you heard about this, then you are most likely not included/invited. hehe.

BBQ party at my house (may extend to semb park if it turns out huge)

BBQ in the evening about 6.30pm onwards, afternoon some get-together chill sessions (and of course, help me to buy and prep food )

i shall be open and say: please bring presents for me! Please be enthusiastic and happy! contributing to the food purchase process ensures that you get to CHOOSE your desired food (especially applicable for people who are primarily stationed overseas and have specific cravings) so this is an incentive to help me in my shopping. hehe.
